The "Learn" button on your garage door opener is located on the upper right-hand side of the motor head, and note it may be under a light cover if you have two bulbs. The "Learn" button will be either green, red/orange, purple, or yellow, depending upon the age of the unit.

This button has two functions:

1. Program accessories to the opener.
2. Clearing the memory of the opener (this will erase all of the accessories that are programmed to the opener).
